Electro Therapy Overview

The Department of Electrotherapy trains students to care the patients to reduce pain, improve and maintain the muscle power, promote the tissue healing, improve the range of movement of a joint, by using high and low frequency electrotherapy modalities. The training in the department educates the students to care the patients for respective conditions with the appropriate modalities by operating the equipments with precautions.

The department has well qualified teachers to train the students in the department for an evidence based practice to select the appropriate modalities in the process of rehabilitation. The department is fully equipped with all the advanced equipments required to assess and treat the patients.
