Musculoskeletal-Sports Overview

The Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy department guides the students with the principles that include efficient teaching methodology and plan the assessment and treatment of the patients clinically with the process of clinical reasoning method and evidence based practice aiming for a relevant content and lifelong learning skills. The department encourages the students to care and trains the patients and the athletes with advanced efficient skills in prevention injuries, rehabilitating the patients, correcting the faulty postures adaptations and improving their sports skills.

The department has well qualified teachers to train the students in the department for the respective programme to put together the assessing and training skills in academic, clinical and research activities. The department is also equipped with all advanced assessment and treatment equipments for the purpose of research activities to execute an complete evidence based practice in the department.
