    Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy in collaboration with the Department of Emergency Medicine, RRMCH, successfully organised a highly informative and Hands-on Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) training programme at on 18th & 19th February 2026. The resource persons for the programme were Dr.Ambreesha.M and team. The participants for the programme were Faculties, MPT students, Interns and undergraduate students of 3rd & 4th year BPT. The programme covered the Chain of Survival, early recognition of cardiac arrest, CPR techniques, and early defibrillation.

    The programme was conducted with practical training where students performed CPR procedures on mannequins under expert guidance. The interactive and skill-based approach made the session highly engaging and clinically valuable. Overall, it was an excellent learning experience that enhanced students’ confidence and preparedness in handling emergency situations and providing life-saving care.
