World Environment Day – 2023
On the occasion of ‘World Environment Day’ which is observed worldwide on June 5th every year, Rajarajeswari college of Physiotherapy conducted an awareness programme against plastic use at the college lobby on 5th June 2023. This year’s theme is “Beat Plastic Pollution”.
The samplings were planted by the students followed by awareness programme were conducted
Workshop on Cognitive Behavioral therapy – 2023
RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy, Bangalore organized a program on “Cognitive Behavioral therapy” at our RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy on 02.06.2023.
The Faculties and the students of RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy attended and participated in the programme to update the knowledge of intervention among the students and The programme was started by welcome speech followed with guest Lecture by resource person, Dr.Vishnu Vardhan, Professor and Head of the Department ,Department of Psychiatry ,RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital on the understanding the concepts of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the programme ended with vote of thanks.
WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY – 2023
The ‘’ WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY ’’ programme was conducted by RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy with Department of Paediatrics ,RRMCH on 24/03/2023 at the college campus to spread an awareness regarding Down syndrome and associated problems with a Theme : With Us Not For Us.
The program was Preceded by Dr P.Balasubramanian, professor and Principal ,RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy with a welcome speech. The programme was aimed to create awareness about Down syndrome and its advance evidences in care by multidisciplinary approach among health care professions and parents of Down syndrome affected patients.
The children along with their Parents attended the program in large numbers. The identification and the management of Down syndrome was exemplified to all the audience through a skit performance and poster presentation by under graduates, interns and post graduates of RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy .
The parents and caretakers expressed their view in the care of children with Down syndrome and performed creative activities along with their children.
The program was concluded with remarks by Dr Adarsh E, Professor and HOD,Department of Paediatrics,RRMCH.
UGADI celebration – 2023
The Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy gathered for the ” UGADI celebration 2023 ” and performed various activities
Basic Life Support Workshop – 2023
The ‘ Basic Life Support ‘ workshop conducted in our Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy on 18.03.2023 ( Saturday) at 10 am in the College Campus.
The workshop started with the Presentation followed by Practical demonstration from the Department of Anaesthesia, Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital. The Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy attended the workshop.

Womens day – Pinkathon
The RajaRajeswari Group of Institutions celebrated “International Women’s Day” on 8th March.“Pinkathon” – a walkathon by the women employees of RRGI ( Both Teaching and non – teaching ) was initiated to create awareness about Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer amongst the public. Students of RajaRajeswari College of physiotherapy were performed skit and mob to create awareness about the Breast cancer and Cervical and cancer was staged inside the Gopalan Arcade Mall
Workshop on Aquatic Rehabilitation
RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy (RRCP) conducted a Workshop on “Understanding Aquatic Rehabilitation: Experimental learning” on 25th Feb 2023 at the college campus.
The Resource person for this program was Dr. Joshua Samuel Rajkumar delivered the Lecture about the Aquatic rehabilitation followed by how to assess, interpret and treat the problems with the patients. Practical demonstrations at the swimming pool for the students were done about the various treatment techniques, The staff, Postgraduates, and Undergraduate students were present for the program.
