The day has been celebrated by the International Civil Aviation Organization since 7 December 1994, the 50th anniversary of the signing the Convention on International Civil Aviation.The purpose of the day is to recognize the importance of aviation, especially international air travel, to the social and economic development of the world. The purpose of International Civil Aviation Day is to help generate and reinforce worldwide awareness of the importance of international civil aviation for the social and economic development and to cooperate and realize a truly global rapid transit network at the service of all mankind. As the UN and world nations have now adopted Agenda 2030, and embarked on a new era in global sustainable development, the importance of aviation as an engine of global connectivity and to look to international flight as a fundamental enabler of global peace and prosperity.

RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy observes ‘Indian Navy Day 2020’ on 4th December 2020 marking this special day of observance.
Navy Day in India is celebrated on 4 December every year to recognize the achievements and role of the Indian Navy to the country. 4 December was chosen as on that day in 1971, during Operation Trident, the Indian Navy sank four Pakistani vessels including PNS Khaibar, killing hundreds of Pakistani Navy personnel.

RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy observes World Disability Day on 3rd December
RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy observed ‘World Disability Day 2020’ on 3rd December 2020 and conducted an awareness event virtually marking this special day.
The programme started with prayer song by the student, followed by welcome speech by the RRCP Principal Dr. P. Balasubramanian followed by Speech by P.Vijayakumar, Professor, RRCP about the Disability.
Subsequently there was a talk about the theme by Jibi Deepak, Asssistant professor
The Guest speaker Dr,Parthipan delivered a highlighted speech on the topic “Rights of the persons with disabilities”. The programme ended with vote of thanks by Sanjana, Assistant professor. During the programme the video presentations are done by RRCP students. The programme was coordinated and compered by G,Pavani ,Assistant professor

RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy observes ‘World AIDS Day 2020’ on 1st December 2020 marking this special day of observance.
World AIDS Day, designated on 1 December every year since 1988, is an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the #AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of #HIV infection and mourning those who have died of the disease!!

Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, is celebrated in India on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26 January 1950. It is the longest written constitution in the world and holds many and unique accolades!!
