Faculty Development Program on Rising Together
RajaRajeswari College of Nursing, Physiotherapy and Allied Health Science had organised a session on “Rising Together” a faculty development program on 22nd February 2020 at 10:00am in the Board Room, RRMCH.
Mrs. Smitha Ramesh a trained life skill trainer by Profession was invited to deliver the talk. The session was attended by 17 delegates that include the principal’s of the respective college.
Mrs. Roopalatha, Associate Professor, Nursing introduced and welcomed the Speaker.
Mrs. Smitha spoke on how emotional Intelligencers (EI Quotient) plays a vital role in the field of teaching and also how important it is to for the teachers to step out of the comfort zone to be self motivated and also to be a part of a great team. She introduced us into heuristic exercises like the ‘Johari Window’ and the Japense concept of ‘Ikigai”. The session was interactive along with self assessment activities conducted by her.
The session was ended by a vote of thanks given by Mrs. Jibi Deepak, Assistant Professor, and Physiotherapy along with gifting Mrs. Smitha with a token of love and appreciation.

There was a training program on Basic life support for the B.P.T students on 03/01/2020, held at Kadmba Auditorium. This was organized by the department of Anesthesiology in association with college of physiotherapy, the program started with welcome address, lamp lightning, and followed by training session ended with vote of thanks.
RRMCH – Dean, Dr.Sathyamurthy, Dr.pravin G.U. Vice Principal, Dr. Sajahanda NABH coordinator Dr.Sowmya coordinator for CPR Committee and Principal, Faculty Members from College of Physiotherapy were present.
World Disability Day
Department of Physiotherapy is conducting ‘WORLD DISABILITY DAY’.

Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy conducted programme on the “World Disability Day” on 03/12/2019 in the Kadamba Auditorium. The programme started with welcome speech. Introduction was give about the world disability day with lamp lighting by the Dignitaries. The Dr. Sathymurthy – Dean, Sri C. N. SeethaRam – Chief Executive officer, Dr Pravin G U – Vice Principal, Head of the Departments, Faculty members of RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital, attended the programme.
Many programs were conducted amongst the students in this occasion like Quiz, dance, mime, debate and many other activities. Prizes were given to the students. The program concluded with a vote of thanks.

Guest Lecture on Motor Control & Learning for Neurological Conditions
RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy cordially invites one and all to attend the guest lecture on Theory & Practical Approaches on Motor Control & Learning for Neurological Conditions. The resource person is Dr. Palanivel Rajan P.T, Founder and Director of Total Physio 365 Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru. The event is slated to happen on 13th March 2020 at 10 A. M.

World Environment Day 2018
Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy celebrated the World Environment Day on 5th of June 2018. On this occasion the department planted saplings around the campus contributing to a healthy environment. This year the theme was “BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION” in order to urge the staff and students of Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy to pledge against the use of plastic within the campus and outside.
