World Bicycle Day – 2025
RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy celebrated World Bicycle Day on 3rd June 2025 with the theme “cycling for a sustainable future”. On this event B.P.T and M.P.T students made hand-made posters and presented the same to create awareness and also shared various health benefits of cycling. Faculty members and students actively participated in this event.The programme started with the welcome speech followed by the poster presentations and concluded with the Vote of thanks

Community Physiotherapy Camp
RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy , organised a Community Physiotherapy Camp in association with Department of Community Medicine, RRMCH in the Urban Health Centre, Channasandra, Bangalore, on 13th February 2025. Dr. Shashikala, HOD, Department of Community Medicine, RRMCH addressed the public regarding the importance of Physiotherapy, Exercises and Ergonomics in some common musculoskeletal problems. Faculty members, interns and students of RRCP participated in the session by creating awareness and demonstrated various exercises using charts to prevent and overcome common musculoskeletal problems. Within community around 50 individuals participated in the gathering and was benefitted with the session.
Topic on “Hand washing techniques, Bio medical waste management and Needle stick injuries”
RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy organised a training session in association with Hospital Infection Committee, RRMCH on topic “Hand washing techniques, Bio medical waste management and Needle stick injuries” on 31st January 2025 in the Department of Physiotherapy, RRMCH. Mrs Vasantha, from Hospital Infection Committee, RRMCH was the resource person who delivered the necessary information regarding hospital acquired infections and its management. Faculty members, interns, PG students and UG students of RRCP attended the training program and was benefitted with the information.
