National Doctors Day is celebrated on July 1st every year in India honouring Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a renowned doctor and prominent personality in India’s medical and political affairs on his birth and death anniversary.

This day is dedicated to honouring the tireless dedication, compassion, and relentless efforts of medical professionals. Doctor’s Day serves as a tribute to the vital role doctors play in healing, protecting, and strengthening communities.

The theme “Behind the Mask: Caring for Caregivers” emphasizes the importance of acknowledging and supporting the well-being of doctors, recognizing that they also need care and support, especially given their demanding roles. It highlights the dedication and compassion of doctors while also prompting reflection on the need to address their own needs.

National Reading Day is observed in India on June 19th every year to honour the life and work of Puthuvayil Narayana Panicker, who is widely regarded as the Father of India’s Library Movement.
Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy and the Department of Library and information science celebrates this day by encouraging students to know the importance of reading books and participate in reading-related activities.

World Blood Donor Day will be observed on June 14, 2025, to honor voluntary blood donors and raise awareness about the importance of regular blood donation.

RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy, Department of Community physiotherapy along with the Department of Community Medicine,RRMCH conducted an awareness programme on different orthopaedic conditions at chunchanakuppe,Rural Health centre on 11/06/2025 at 10.30 am
On this programme B.P.T and M.P.T students made hand-made posters and presented the same to create awareness and also explained to the community regarding the various exercise programmes and how to prevent.
 

RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy celebrated World Environment day on 5th June 2025 with the theme “putting end to plastic pollution’.On this event B.P.T and M.P.T students made hand-made posters and presented the same to create awareness followed by sampling of plants. Faculty members and students actively participated in this  event.
