The initiative brought together government departments, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), corporate organizations, and citizens in a collective effort to build a greener, healthier, and more sustainable Bengaluru.
The faculty and students actively planted native saplings and contributed towards the city’s vision of environmental conservation and sustainable urban development. Their enthusiastic participation reflected the institution’s strong commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and meaningful community engagement. The programme also served as an opportunity to instill environmental awareness and ecological responsibility among future healthcare professionals, emphasizing that a healthy environment is fundamental to a healthy community.
