RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy organized a series of departmental awareness and screening programmes from 21st to 30th September 2026 as part of the Founders Day 2026 celebrations. The initiatives focused on promoting preventive healthcare, early identification of health concerns, and the importance of physiotherapy in improving health and quality of life.
The programmes covered four key areas: Neurological Health, Women’s Health (OBG), Cardiac Health, and Ergonomics, addressing different aspects of health and well-being.
The Neurological Awareness and Screening Programme, themed “Screen Your Nerve, Strengthen Your Life,” emphasized neurological health and the importance of early screening and awareness of nerve-related conditions.
The OBG Awareness and Screening Programme, themed “From Awareness to Action – Prioritizing Women’s Health,” focused on women’s health awareness, preventive care, and the importance of timely screening.
The Cardiac Screening Programme, themed “Small Habits, Big Impact on Heart Health,” highlighted the importance of healthy lifestyle practices, cardiovascular health awareness, and preventive measures to reduce cardiac risk factors.
The Ergonomics Awareness Programme focused on workplace health, proper posture, safe movement practices, and strategies to prevent work-related musculoskeletal discomfort and promote physical well-being.
Together, these departmental initiatives reflected the commitment of RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy to community health promotion, preventive care, and the practical application of physiotherapy across different areas of healthcare. The programmes also reinforced the importance of early awareness, healthy lifestyle choices, and accessible health education as part of the Founders Day 2026 celebrations.
