Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy (RRCP) successfully organized SAMVAD – A Faculty Development Programme on 06 August 2026 at the Conference Hall, RRCP Campus. The session was led by Dr. Preetha Thomas, Academician and Consultant Psychologist, Hope–Bengaluru.
The programme focused on the psychosocial domain, emphasizing the importance of emotional intelligence, effective communication, interpersonal relationships, stress management, empathy, and psychological well-being in academic and healthcare settings. Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, participants gained valuable insights into fostering positive professional relationships and enhancing holistic patient care.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from the faculty, making it a lively and enriching learning experience. To encourage active involvement, the Best Performer and Best Interactor were recognized and presented with awards by the resource person.
The programme concluded with positive feedback from the participants, reinforcing RRCP’s commitment to continuous faculty development and promoting excellence in teaching, communication, and psychosocial competence.
