    Theme: “Early Detection Saves Lives”

Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy, Bengaluru, in accordance with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, organised a Breast Cancer Awareness Programme on 29th October 2026 at the RRCP Campus.

To mark the occasion, the college campus was beautifully adorned with pink decorations, symbolising breast cancer awareness, hope, strength, and solidarity with women affected by the disease. The pink-themed ambience created a sense of unity and served as a visual reminder of the importance of breast health and early detection.

The programme aimed to create awareness about breast cancer, its risk factors, early warning signs, preventive measures, and the importance of early detection. It emphasised the need for women to be aware of their breast health, recognise possible symptoms, and seek timely medical consultation.

The session highlighted the significance of breast self-awareness, regular screening, clinical breast examinations, and appropriate medical guidance. It also aimed to address common misconceptions and encourage open conversations about breast cancer, thereby reducing stigma and promoting a supportive environment for individuals affected by the disease.

Through this initiative, the institution reaffirmed its commitment to community health education, preventive healthcare, and spreading awareness about the importance of early diagnosis.

The programme conveyed an important message: Early detection can make a life-saving difference. Awareness, timely screening, and appropriate medical care are essential steps towards better health outcomes.

Together, let us spread awareness, encourage early detection, and stand in support of every woman fighting breast cancer.
