As part of World Breastfeeding Week 2026, Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy (RRCP), in collaboration with the Department of Community Medicine, RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital (RRMCH), actively participated in a Breastfeeding Awareness Campaign conducted at the Rural HealthTraining Centre, Chunchunkuppe (05 August 2026) and Rural Health Centre, K.R. Halli (06 August 2026).

The campaign witnessed the enthusiastic participation of BPT and MPT students, who interacted with antenatal and postnatal mothers, caregivers, and community members through informative health education sessions.

    Key awareness topics included:
    • Exclusive breastfeeding
    • Early initiation of breastfeeding
    • Correct breastfeeding techniques
    • Maternal nutrition
    • Benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and child

The programme provided students with valuable community-based learning experience, strengthening their practical skills while reaffirming RRCP’s commitment to health promotion, preventive healthcare, and community outreach.

Together, we empower mothers, nurture healthier children, and build stronger communities.
