Mangalore Physiocon 2026, an International Physiotherapy Conference with the theme “Movement is Health – Moving to the Next Era through Technology & Autonomy”, was organized on 10th and 11th April 2026 at Mangalore by the South Canara Physiotherapy Teachers Association (SCPTA). The conference brought together academicians, clinicians, researchers, and students to discuss advancements in physiotherapy practice, innovation, and technology-driven rehabilitation.
On this occasion, Dr. Jibi Deepak, Professor and Head of the Department of Neurophysiotherapy, Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy, Bengaluru, was honoured with the “Distinguished Service Award “ in recognition of her extraordinary contribution to the physiotherapy profession. The award acknowledges her dedicated service, leadership, academic excellence, and significant impact in advancing neurophysiotherapy education and clinical practice.
