Students from Rajarajeshwari College of Physiotherapy, including both UG and PG, actively participated in the National Conference on “Inclusive Disability Interventions: Diversity, Equity, Accessibility & Sustainability” held on 9th and 10th April 2026 at Jnana Jyothi Auditorium, Central College Campus, Bengaluru.
The conference was jointly organized by the Department of Studies and Research in Social Work, Dr. M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, in collaboration with the Institute of Disability Rehabilitation and Research (IDRR) and the Association of People with Disability (APD).The event focused on promoting inclusive practices and addressing the challenges faced by persons with disabilities across various sectors such as education, healthcare, employment, and community participation. It brought together academicians, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students to share knowledge, experiences, and innovative strategies for disability inclusion.
Our students gained valuable insights into interdisciplinary approaches, recent advancements, and practical interventions aimed at creating an inclusive and sustainable society. Their participation enhanced their understanding of diversity, equity, and accessibility in real-world settings. The conference proved to be an enriching academic experience, encouraging critical thinking and professional growth among the students
