Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy, successfully organized a workshop on “Basic Concepts of Dry Needling” on 23rd June 2026 at the RRCP Campus, Bengaluru.
The resource person for the workshop was Dr. David Arun Kumar J, Director of Advanced Physiotherapy Centre, Bengaluru. He delivered an insightful session on the fundamental principles of dry needling, covering its theoretical foundations, clinical indications, contraindications, safety considerations, and evidence-based applications in physiotherapy practice.
The session provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of dry needling techniques and their role in the management of musculoskeletal dysfunctions and pain conditions. Through interactive discussions and practical demonstrations, participants gained valuable knowledge regarding the integration of dry needling into contemporary physiotherapy interventions.The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, interns, faculty members, and practicing physiotherapists. The interactive nature of the program encouraged active engagement, knowledge sharing, and professional development among the attendees.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, dignitaries, resource person, organizing committee, and participants for contributing to the success of the workshop.
