Rajarajeswari College of Physiotherapy(RRCP), Bengaluru, observed World Brain Day 2026 on 21st July 2026 with the theme “Brain Injury to Functional Recovery – The Science of Neurorehabilitation with Current Trends.”
The highlight of the programme was an expert lecture by Dr. Mallikarjunaiah H. S., PhD, PGDBEME, MPT (Neurosciences), Dean, Principal and Professor, Acharya’s NR Institute of Physiotherapy, Bengaluru, who shared valuable insights on evidence-based neurorehabilitation, functional recovery following brain injury, and emerging clinical practices.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from UG and PG Physiotherapy students, who actively engaged in the interactive discussion and gained a deeper understanding of contemporary approaches in neurological rehabilitation.
The programme successfully promoted awareness of brain health while inspiring future physiotherapists to embrace innovation and evidence-based practice in neurological rehabilitation.
