On 25th oct 2024, on behalf of World Cerebral Palsy Day, RajaRajeswari College of Physiotherapy participated in a special awareness program on role of Physiotherapy and special education in children with Cerebral Palsy organised by Dr Adarsh, HOD, Department of Pediatrics, RRMCH on the theme Uniquely CP. Dr Balasubramanian, Principal, RRCP, faculty members and PG students of RRMCH and RRCPactively participated in the event.
Mr Chand pasha, special educator, Spastic Society of Karnataka along with their team participated and discussed their experiences and challenges in treating children with CP.
Children with cerebral palsy with their parents also attended the event and participated in various cultural programs organised by the committee. They also acknowledge about the treatment approaches and therapy approaches followed by Department of Paediatrics and department of physiotherapy.
